Tall and Iconic: the 116 Meters High Singapore Flyer

People like to hop on a Ferris wheel that gives them the chance of the city’s view from above. Well, what about a Ferris wheel that is equal to 42 levels of height where you can see an amazing view from above – and beyond? If it sounds interesting, then you should hop on the Singapore Flyer and enjoy one of a kind traveling experience of a lifetime!

Singapore Flyer and Its Appeal

Singapore Flyer

Singapore Flyer is an iconic Ferris wheel with 116 meters height – equal to 42 levels of a building. The Ferris wheel has glass capsules that enable you to enjoy the panoramic view of the city’s skyline. When it is clear, you can even see Malaysia and Indonesia from far. Can you watch other monuments or places while on it? Of course! You can see Singapore River, Marina Bay, and Merlion Park.

Singapore Flyer is the second biggest Ferris wheel in the world – the number one is the High Roller in Las Vegas. The flyer is one of Asia’s biggest tourist attractions that was launched in 2008. Besides the city’s view, you can also enjoy dinner – as long as you are willing to pay more. It takes around 30 minutes to have a complete circle. The cool thing about the Ferris wheel is the glass enclosure, even on the floor, so you can enjoy the view – you will feel as if flying all through the wheels. And the capsule has AC so it is super comfortable – forget about the hot day or whatsoever. You won’t feel the heat at all.

Singapore Flyer

The attraction is open every day, from Monday to Sunday with operational hours from 8.30 AM to 10.30 PM. Although you can hop on the flyer at any time of the day, the best time is in the evenings so you can watch the sunset. The ticket is S$33 for adults, S$24 for senior citizens, and S$21 for kids (age between 3 and 12 years old).
