How to Go to Redang Island
When you arrive at the island, the entrance fee to the marine park costs RM5 for every visitor. The Redang Island resort will arrange the transfers directly.
For those who go to the island by plane, the direct flight is no longer available.
You should choose flying from Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Terengganu that costs about RM170 and it can be cheaper for the advance fares, then continue by boat as the transport to Redang Island.
To take the boat, you should go to the main jetty at Merang (about 30 kilometers from Kuala Terengganu to the north).

The sailing to Pasir Panjang will take about 40minutes of time.
Choose any of the ferry boats or speedboats by spending RM40 for a one-way ticket, but the boat is comfortable enough to ride.
There are also direct ferries from Shahbadar Jetty to the south of the island, Berjaya Jetty.
But the operation months only from March to October. Private Yacht is also available for rent if you have the trip in the group.
