Aquaria KLCC Malaysia is one of the attractions around the Twin Towers beside the recreational and shopping center Suria KLCC. It is a life-sized aquarium established in 2002 within the tallest building’s walls.

The 60,000 square feet indoor marine park exhibits more than 5,000 types of marine life. The amazing sea creatures are including the sand tiger sharks, giant Pacific octopi, giant groupers, and green sea turtles. Additionally, the animals are also including the semi-aquatic mammals such as raccoon, Dortmund is and water rats.

Inside the Aquaria KLCC Kuala Lumpur, visitors can experience the Journey of Water, including the Flooded Forest, the Jewels of the Jungle, and the Coast that are inspired by kinds of wildlife flourish from different geographical zones.

In the Electric Zone, the visitors can see electric catfishes, electric eel, pinecone fish, and stonefish. In the petting zoo of Aquaria KLCC Malaysia, visitors can touch the horseshoe crabs, bamboo sharks, and also the horned sea starfish.

The feeding time of the creatures is every day. You can see the Aquaria KLCC feeding time if you come at the right time. This aquarium opens every day; 11 am –8 pm on weekdays and 10.30 am – 8 pm on weekends and public holidays.

Aquaria KLCC Entrance Fees

The entrance fee to the indoor marine park is RM50 for adult, RM 30 for senior (more than 60 years old), and RM 40 for kid (from 3 to 12 years old). Meanwhile, those who hold MyKad or MyKid can pay RM30 for adult and RM25 for senior and kid. The entrance fee is free for kids under 3 years old. The entrance fee will certainly be worth because all visitors can enjoy the wonderful natural marine inside the Aquaria KLCC.

How to Get to Aquaria KLCC

For those who are from the Putra LRT Station or the shopping center Suria KLCC, you can only walk along the walkway of the underpass tunnel that connects Suria KLCC’s lower ground and Kuala Lumpur Convention Center.

You only need about five minutes of walking to reach the Aquaria KLCC. Meanwhile, if you are from Bukit Bintang, leaving from the Pavilion KL through the pedestrian walkway and then reach the Convention Center of Kuala Lumpur in about 5 minutes.
