You probably think that eating soup won’t appease your appetite. Well, you may experience a different outcome when you come to this restaurant. Eating a bowl of soup will lead to a happy tummy, but you only want more! The soup consists of (slurpy) noodles with tender beef. You can also accompany it with their tasty signature fried beef dumplings. No need to worry, it is halal certified. Located in 21 Yen-Ping S. Road, the restaurant opens every day from 10 AM to 7.15 PM. It is only 8 walking minute from Beimen Station or Taipei Main Station.

Thai Yunus Halal Restaurant
Located in Xinyi, which is Taipei’s Central Square, this restaurant offers authentic Thai foods. The restaurant is pretty cosy and comfortable, and it can also be used to accommodate big groups. One of their signature dishes is the fish and prawn variants – if you are into seafood. The restaurant offers a perfect spot for those who have explored Xinyi’s area and looked for a place to appease their hunger. The place opens every day from 11.30 AM to 2 PM. They will close but then they are open again from 5 PM to 9.30 PM. Reaching the spot is quite easy from Arena MRT Station – you only need to walk.

Go to Smoothie House – they have several branches in Taipei so you shouldn’t have any difficulty finding one. Try their signature dessert of Super Mango Snowflake Ice (with Panna Cotta) or Super Fruits Mix Mango Snowflake Ice (with Sorbet). Not only they are tasty and refreshing, but they are also great for hot days. The place opens from 10 AM to 11 PM. Just walk for 3 minutes from Dongmen Station and you will reach one of the branches.
Craving for pizza but not sure about their halal quality? You should head to Gusto Pizza that is offering a unique twist and addition to the classic Italian variant. You can try their Tandoori Chicken pizza or The Dennis Supreme. No need to worry, all of their pizzas are halal and safe. They are always close on Mondays, but they are open from 4 PM to 9 PM on Tuesdays. They are open for longer hours from Wednesdays to Sundays from 11.30 AM to 2 PM, and then from 4 PM to 9 PM.
Mayur Indian Kitchen
If you are into Indian foods, then this would be the perfect place to go. You can enjoy authentic Indian foods with their wide array of variants. They have vegan foods too, in case you are a vegetarian. All their menu options are mouth-watering so you won’t be disappointed.
There are 4 branches of them in Taipei. All of them have the same menus but different interior decor. For the best experience, head to Xinsheng North Road no.38 Section 1. They are open from Tuesdays to Sundays from 12 to 3 PM and then from 4.30 PM to 10 PM. It takes only 8 walking minutes from Zhongxiao Xinsheng.
