Hanoi airport Terminal 1 (T1) is a terminal whose construction was completed in 2001. Before the Airports Corporation of Vietnam built Terminal 2, T1 was home to all domestic and international flights. However, after T2 became operational, T1 only handled domestic flights from domestic airlines such as VietJet Air and Jetstar Pacific.

This Terminal has five gates (Gate 2, 4, 5, 6, 7) and can handle more than 15 million passengers annually.

T1’s building consists of four levels with a building shape similar to the letter Y. More specifically, at these levels, there are Arrivals halls and Departure Halls along with other standard facilities and services, including the following:
