There are many restaurants in Kunming Changshui Airport and close by. The ones inside the airport are surely not too luxurious, but the prices are relatively cheaper than you go outside. You can go to the floor B2, B1, and F1. Do not forget to try a Yunnan-style rice noodle which is the special menu at Changxingji Restaurant and Xintiandi Restaurant. If you have a long layover and want to travel around Kunming city, you can leave your luggage at the left-luggage office. Keep your stuff safe for a few hours or even days. There are four service positions, i.e. left the side of No 1 entrance in the departure hall of the third floor, the right side of No.4 entrance, A area and k area, which is all in the departure hall of the third floor. Do not forget to pay for the service, usually starts from RMB 10.
