What’s so special about this place, anyway? Well, Colmar Tropicale is a picturesque village with colorful, beautiful, and artistic elements. With only 45 minutes away from the city center of Kuala Lumpur, the spot is easy to reach and access as it is on the top of Berjaya Hills.

You will be required to pay RM15 per adult and RM8 per child (ages 4 to 12). The fee, however, would be refunded if you decide to stay at the resorts. The entrance fee is valid from 8 AM to 8.30 PM every day and it also includes a pass to Botanical Garden and Japanese Village. If you decide to enter Animal Park, there is an extra RM5.

So, what can you do at Colmar Tropicale? First of all, you can visit La Boulangerie Cafe with its fresh and fragrant bread. You need to refuel when you are about to explore the place around, and coming to this cafe would seem like a good idea. Naturally, you can enjoy fresh-baked foods and enjoy the beverages.

Feel free to enjoy the night view too. Since you can come after 6 PM, the scene would be somewhat romantic and beautiful – much more beautiful and entertaining than your day visit. Don’t forget to explore the Japanese Village. Not only it is beautiful, but it is also peaceful and serene. There is a sense of calm and soothing there. You can explore the Zen-inspired unique garden or enjoy the calming sound of the waterfalls. Tatami Spa is a great place if you want to enjoy the spa treatment. Can you still take pictures in this place? Absolutely!

If you want to try the Yukata or Kimono, this is also the right time to do it. The Japanese Village offers everything Japanese, including the experience of wearing the Kimono or the Yukata. If you have never worn them before, this is your chance! You can have a photo of you in the traditional Japanese national costume without even going to Japan.

Don’t forget to come to Botanical Garden, especially if you are into nature. You can learn the plants, flowers, and other ingenious plants from the country. This can be a perfect time for having fun as well as educational values.

Riding a horse is another alternative to activities in this spot. A visit to Animal Park and play around with animals would be appealing for the kids. There is also the Adventure Park that would get you to a high adrenaline state.

Berjaya Times Square

Make use of the shuttle service with a cost of RM55 per adult and RM50 per child from Berjaya Times Square (it is in Bukit Bintang). The fee includes a return journey too. If you don’t want to use this service, you can choose the hotel transfer service at Petaling Jaya, KLIA, and Genting Highlands. The choice is yours!
