Terminal 1

The first terminal of Narita airport has the biggest structure among the terminals that make up Narita Airport. It consists of a central building with two satellite buildings to the North and South. This terminal has 40 gates used for departure and arrival purposes. This terminal is interconnected to the second terminal by their underground train access. BF 1 (Railways, Narita Airport Station)

The lowermost level of this terminal is the underground level where Narita Airport Station is located. There are JR (Japan Railways) and Keisei Line connecting Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. You might also find yourself at this level if you reach Narita Airport by train. This level has direct access to the first and fourth floors and the parking area.

LEVEL 1 (International Arrival Lobby).

Terminal 2

Terminal 2 Narita Airport Terminals

Terminal 2 of Narita Airport is similar to the previous terminal in that both have a central building and a satellite building, connected from one to the other. The similarity doesn’t end there. Terminal 2 also includes one of the largest duty-free malls in Japan, just like Terminal 1. One selling point which sets this terminal apart from the first terminal is the addition of the Capsule Hotel, one of the most popular aspects of Narita Airport. There are five levels within the second terminal of the Narita Airport.

BF1 (Railways)

This underground level is connected to Terminal 1. You can access both terminals via Narita Airport Station. The 9-hour capsule hotel is also located on this level, should you want to rest before or after a long flight.
