The airport has undergone renovation and expansion in 2013 – everything is designed to accommodate the growing numbers of passengers.

Terminal 1 functions as International Terminal, covering 53,090 meters square of area. The terminal’s capacity is to accommodate five million people. The arrival operation is on the first floor while the departure is on the third floor. Besides the departure section, security and immigration checkpoints can be found there.

Reaching the Airport

So, how do you reach the airport? There are some options, like the bus or a taxi. But the fastest way is by using the train. From Seoul Station, it takes around 22 minutes and the fare is 1,450 won per person. In the event that you are coming from Incheon Airport, the All Stop Train takes around 33 minutes to reach Gimpo.
