Thailand’s Suvarnabhumi Airport is situated 30 kilometers east of Bangkok’s city center. Suvarnabhumi Airport has two parallel runways that are 4 km and 3,7 km long and can accommodate the Airbus A380. 

The busiest airport in Southeast Asia, Suvarnabhumi Airport, can accommodate 45 million passengers annually. Both domestic and international flights are accommodated at the Bangkok Airport terminal. After Dubai, Beijing, and Hong Kong, the primary terminal is the world’s fourth-largest passenger terminal. 

There are seven concourses of the Bangkok Airport; Concourses A to G. The bus, train, and taxi lobby is located on level one of the Suvarnabhumi Airport’s Main Terminal, which has four floors total. 

The arrivals area is located on level two, there are meeting and shopping areas on level three, and the departures area is located on level four. The levels of the Bangkok Airport Terminal are as follows:

More eateries, 7-Elevens, the Novotel Airport Hotel, and the Airport Rail Link, which costs just 45 Baht and transports you to downtown Bangkok, are all located on the basement level. It also provides facilities, including currency exchange. 

  • Level 1

Level 1 is where you can purchase bus/minibus tickets downtown or elsewhere. Additionally, there are a number of “Magic Food Centers,” which are often crowded and serve a broad selection of Thai and Western food at reasonable costs, on this floor. 

  • Level 2

This floor covers transfers as well as domestic and foreign arrivals. The following services are also available here: baggage services, federal inspections, money or exchange, VISA counters, health screenings, and baggage claim belts. Additionally, you’ll find the prayer room here.

  • Level 3

Passenger lounges and VIP rooms are located on this floor, along with other conveniences, including prayer rooms, currency exchange services, shopping, restaurants, bookstores, souvenir shops, and duty-free shops. 

There are various CIP airline lounges (tel: +66 2 134 6284), some of which provide various services for first and business travelers. 

  • Level 4

The domestic and foreign departures are located on this floor. It serves as the primary location for Thai Airways’ premium passenger amenities, as well as information desks, check-in desks (A to W), and access to concourses A to G. B through C rows are for domestic check-in. Rows D to W for international flights.

On this floor, there is a lost goods counter (phone: +66 2 132 1880), which may answer questions about lost luggage at the terminal.

A new terminal with a 15 million passenger annual capacity, Satellite Terminal 1, will debut in April 2023 and will be located directly south of the main Terminal. 

SAT1 is connected to Terminal 1 through APM and has its own check-in and security facilities (automated people mover). Satellite Terminal 1 will be used by Thai Airways, Thai Smile Airways, and Bangkok Airways. 

The “East Expansion” project, which will boost the main terminal’s capacity by 15 million passengers annually, should be finished by 2025 or 2026.

At Suvarnabhumi airport, you can find lounges here that you can enter by paying some money, such as:

It is in Concourse D, next to Gate D7. Opening hours are 4:30 to 22:00. Some amenities include upscale dining, snacks, alcoholic beverages, showers, WiFi, flight monitors, newspapers, magazines, TV, and an internet terminal. Please be aware that the facility is smoke-free.

The entrance cost is €26 per person for two hours.

It is in Concourse D, next to Gate D7. Opening hours are 4:30 to 22:00. There are certain amenities available, including: upscale dining, snacks, alcoholic beverages, showers, WiFi, flight monitors, newspapers, magazines, TV, and an internet terminal. Please be aware that the facility is smoke-free.

The entrance cost is €26 per person for a two-hour period.

Concourses A1, A, C, D, F, and G on level 3 are where you can find them. Concourse D on Level 4 also has this lounge. The lounge is available all the time. 

The following amenities are available to you: premium meals, snacks, alcoholic beverages, showers, WiFi, flight monitors, newspapers, magazines, TV, internet, and telephones. You can’t smoke here. On level 4, you can enjoy the shower facility after the payment. 

For two hours, entry into this lounge costs €31 per visitor.
